What I do with what you tell me

Last updated July 2026

The assessment on this site asks for your income, your dependents, your debts, and your date of birth. That is genuinely sensitive, and you are right to want to know where it goes before you type it in. This page is the answer, and it is short on purpose.

What is collected

Only what you type into the Financial Security Assessment: your name, mobile number, email address, date of birth, city, occupation, and your answers to the questions about your finances, your existing coverage, your goals, and how you would like to meet.

This site does not run advertising trackers, and it does not build a profile of you across other websites.

Why it is collected

To prepare for your session. An advisor who has read your answers beforehand can spend the meeting on your situation instead of on the first twenty minutes of questions. That is the entire reason the assessment exists.

Your answers are also what makes a recommendation legitimate. A plan proposed without them would be a guess, and under Philippine regulation an advisor is expected to understand your circumstances before recommending anything.

Who sees it

Rodel F. Hermogenes reads it. Nobody else does. Your answers are not sold, not shared with third-party marketers, and not passed to other advisors.

If you choose to proceed with an application, the information necessary for that application is shared with Sun Life of Canada (Philippines), Inc. as the insurer, because they are the ones who underwrite and issue the policy. That only happens if you decide to apply.

The calendar

Booking runs on Calendly, and your name and email address are passed to it so you do not have to retype them. Calendly is a separate company with its own privacy policy, and what you give it is governed by that policy as well as this one.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you can ask to see what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@financialarchitect.com and say so. You do not need to give a reason, and asking will not be treated as an invitation to sell you anything.

Keeping it

Assessment answers are kept for as long as it takes to advise you properly, and deleted on request. If you go ahead with a policy, the insurer keeps its own records for the period the law requires of it, and that is out of my hands.
